This Privacy Policy explains how ChangeWord handles information when you use the game.

Information Stored on Your Device

• Game progress, stage results, and history are stored locally in your browser.
• Language preference and help/tutorial seen state are stored locally in your browser.
• A local analytics endpoint override may be stored if configured on your device.

Anonymous Analytics Collected

• Referrer URL (if present) and selected language when first-time help is completed.
• Stage completion events with: puzzle identifier, language, score, delta, and time spent (seconds).
• No account, username, email address, or payment information is collected by the game client.

Third-Party Services

ChangeWord uses third-party infrastructure for hosting and backend logging (PocketBase API endpoint).

How Data Is Used

• To measure puzzle difficulty and balancing over time.
• To monitor app reliability and overall usage trends.
